Ashla Hill Roseboro is a Ph.D. student at Howard University in Communication, Culture and Media Studies and is also pursuing a Women’s Studies Certificate. Her communication research areas of interest are in women’s studies, organizational communication, and digital technology media as relates to African Americans and people of color. She is a teaching associate in the Principles of Speech program for the School of Communication and served a graduate assistant for the Social Media Technology Conference and Workshop which the School of Communications sponsors annually. She earned a B.A. in Technical and Scientific Communication from James Madison University and a M.S. in Career and Technical Studies from Virginia State University. She has professional experience in human resources, communications, education, and risk management. Hill Roseboro is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Business Process Management (BPM).
